Product Manager

At Telenav, we believe the car is at the beginning of a massive innovation wave that mirrors what happened on the smartphone several years ago. Telenav creates world-class connected, embedded and mobile software for the top world’s top automakers. 

We are looking for a highly motivated product manager to define and build new automotive software products. As a product manager, you will work closely with designers and engineers to create products that will go into millions of automobiles around the world.  

In this role, you will: 

• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements 
• Prioritize features and with UX on user experience to create a compelling product 
• Work closely with engineering, UX, project management and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and bring solutions to market 
• Create detailed use-cases and translate requirements into detailed user stories 
• Be the point person for the product development team, answering questions and providing product vision  
• Manage the product backlog and sprint planning, create user stories and participate in the agile ceremonies 
• Proactively track progress, validate product features and prioritize bugs  
• Ensure that the product is delivered in a timely manner with very high quality 
• When required, meet with customers to present solutions and secure feedback on products 

To be successful in this role, you must have: 

• A track record of 3+ years of successful software product deliveries preferably in automotive software 
• A passion for automotive 
• An ability to lead and influence a cross functional team 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and a proactive mindset 
• Able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment 
• Experience working with agile product development 
• Willingness to work remotely across countries/continents operating in different time-zones (We are a global company and you will be on calls with colleagues outside normal business hours at-least once a week with occasional travel). 
• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
• Track record of successful software product management'
