Production Manager

Tasks:

Production department management:

• Supervises the entire production process from raw material to waste

• Is responsible for organizing, allocating and loading staff.

• Communicate daily with subordinates about the current situation in the department

• Plan and carry out employee development dialogue.

• Establishes, communicates and monitors the fulfillment of individual goals

• Establishes and implements measures to motivate subordinate staff.

• KPI management-defining, monitoring and ensuring the fulfillment of performance indicators

• Creates, maintains and encourages a competitive, balanced, open, conflict-free work environment

Duties on production and quality:

• Is responsible for the optimal flow of materials and information within the production department

• Ensures that production is cost-effective, using the necessary human and material resources and meeting the optimal parameters

• Estimates the production time required and communicates the quality standards to be achieved

• Coordinates daily maintenance and quality activities

• Prepares reports of achievements in his department compared to the approved plan

Budget attributions:

 • It is responsible for the preparation of the draft budget of the cost center for the department and for the inclusion in the approved expenditures.

• Checks monthly the compliance with the assumed budgeted values and establishes measures to compensate the exceeded values

Duties regarding occupational safety and health:

 • Checks compliance with occupational safety and health, emergencies and environmental protection for the department he leads.

 Requirements:

• Graduate of higher education in the food industry

• Very good coordination and leadership skills

• Skills in planning, organizing, delegating, controlling and communicating

• Ability to forecast, budget and objectively evaluate

• Adaptation to crisis situations, diplomacy in relations with subordinates, colleagues

• Assertiveness, creativity

• PC operating knowledge

• Advanced knowledge of English

• Knowledge of Hungarian is an advantage

• Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial position

• Minimum 3 years experience in a multinational production company

• Experience in production-automation is an advantage
