Support the continuous improvement of our Seed Production activities in Romania, the Process improvement engineer must provide full-service management for the successful execution of capital projects that typically range between $10k and $ 500K.

DO SOMETHING THAT MOVES YOU

// Responsible for the full end to end project management, including planning, organizing, direct control and leading the improvement project from concept to completion and closure.

// Lead lean and continuous improvement projects for the seed production organization in Romania.

// Coordinate with site and regional Health Safety and Environment leads, local architects and engineering firms when applicable.

// Project engineering and management for industrial projects, including feasibility studies, scope determination, detailed design, cost estimation, planning and scheduling, construction, startup, obtaining permits and completing project documentation.

// Develop continuous process improvement and engineered solutions for day-to-day operating problems, long term business needs and regulatory compliance.

// Coordinate interface with the project customer to ensure that the functional definition and project scope are well defined and agreed upon.

// Ensure change management, routine communication and proper approvals are completed

// Having a University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar

// Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an engineering environment in process improvement or as a project lead; Experience in seed production, commercial agriculture, or food industry will be preferred

// Pragmatic and logical thinker

// Able to act effectively in complex and fast developing environment

// Proactive, focused on results

// Team player with strong communication and negotiation skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and
