Project control coordinators

Bonatti SpA is researching for its project in Europe, specialists for the Project Control department with relevant experience in Pipeline Construction Projects for the following positions:

• Project control coordinators
• Planner Cost Controller (Reporting Engineers)
• Planner Schedule Engineer
• Cost Controllers

• Progress/Invoicing Engineering

   

   

Responsibilities & Duties

• Responsible for development and maintenance of the Project Master Construction Schedule
• Supervising, managing, planning and monitoring the scheduling activities.
• HOC assignment and participation with pre-construction scheduling activities.
• Develops schedules in conjunction with project management and construction management team and applies the project controls systems to be used for monitoring the project.
• Budgeting and cost engineering functions.
• Ensures that budget and schedule changes are input on a timely basis.
• Development of project schedules including project initiation starter schedule.
• Development of Critical Path Method (CMP) logic networks.
• Development and maintenance of Detail Project Schedule.
• Developments of Progress Measurement System as appropriate.
• Development of the schedule requirements for input to the Material Status Report (MSR).
• Determining and reporting project status and supervising the monitoring and updating of scheduling documents as required.
• Performs detailed analysis and schedule trend assessment.
• Development of corrective action plans/schedules when required.
• Directs others and/or prepare various daily, weekly, monthly, annual and job to date scheduling and planning reports.
• Checking of all schedules documents for accuracy and consistency for release in Project Monthly Reports to management and/or client monthly reports.
• Reporting to the client and management will be required and shall be prompt, accurate and professional in all form.
• Overseas training and professional development of subordinates to ensure expanded work knowledge and capabilities of the subordinates.
• Excellent working knowledge of primavera P3 planning system.

Requirements

• Extensive Knowledge of principles and basics linked to project planning activities including but not limited to baseline, current forecast, critical path, early, late.
• Extensive knowledge of cost control techniques. Capability to implement and manage a cost control system for complex multi-company activities/projects at a consolidated level
• Extensive knowledge of project analysis and reporting techniques. Capability to implement and manage a project performance reporting system
• Preferred Engineering degree with a minimum of five to ten of practical experience.
• Having held a similar position for at least 3 years on Pipeline construction Projects
• Must be a team player with proactive approach with motivation and technical skills.
• Experience in using Primavera, Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Excel and Word applications.
• Fluent English, Italian is a plus with multicultural experience.
