OVERVIEW: Project Manager develops and leads the assigned projects with cross-functional teams to assure project success and being responsible for achieving the On-Time and On-Budget Launch while also ensuring sub-goals for Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales and Engineering. 

Key Activities:

  • Lead and manage the project team in order to develop, modify or implement a concept/solution, meeting the customer's expectations, requirements and specifications
  • Plan, track and monitor the project and its milestones in order to ensure an in time start of production (SOP) / project closure or handover
  • Take measure to ensure highest quality of the product based on internal and customer requirements
  • Plan and control the project budget to meet the project's financial target
  • Monitor the product cost in order to meet the project's financial target
  • Stay in constant contact with the customer to ensure an appropriate project coordination and information flow
  • Manage the project risks and changes in order to minimize risks and the impact of changes
  • Conduct negotiations, solve conflicts, overcome stress
  • Coordinate all activities within the project team by regular project meetings, status updates and information sharing

Desired Profile:

  • University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 2 year experience in Project Management, handling of complex projects (preferably in automotive industry)
  • Able to demonstrate successful team management experience, be self motivated and able to motivate others
  • Willingness to travel and to stay at the headquarter during projects
  • Team player with an open minded attitude
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal in English (German knowledge would be an advantage)
  • Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects
