Job role

We are looking for a project manager taking over various tasks and responsibilities in the Global Operations and CIO area. You will report directly to the Head of Global Operations and CIO of Allianz Technology, coordinate with all departments to ensure timely deliverables and oversee needed activities from different departments.

To fulfill this role, you should be well organized, work efficiently, be able to work both in a team and independently and be willing to take over a high variety of tasks. Solving new situations, challenges and problems is relevant on a regular basis. Ideally you have at least first experience in the IT Service Management environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Push, chase and oversee action items, upcoming important meetings, deadlines, to do’s, while ensuring objectives are achieved timely;
  • Collecting and consolidating information for review and presentation purposes (All Staffs/ Committees/SteerCos/Executive Management Teams);
  • Acting as point of contact among executives and employees within Global Operations and CIO for overarching topics;
  • Proactive preparation and post-processing of meetings and needed activities;
  • Monitoring and point of contact for COO measures within a Global Program;
  • Creation of the Monthly Global Operations/CIO Newsletter;
  • Yearly IT Strategy update for AZ Technology;
  • Other overarching related topics (Risk Management, Financials, Projects, etc.);

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience;
  • Working experience in project management and large scale enterprises;
  • Be able to act without guidance with a hands-on, can do attitude;
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines and to stay focused under pressure;
  • Ability to respond to and prioritize numerous concurring demands;
  • Willing to handle a large variety of topics and tasks;
  • First experience or senior level experience in a fast-paced environment;
  • Well organized and efficient;
  • 2+ years professional experience as a Project Manager;
  • Understanding of IT systems and processes;
  • International project and job expertise.

Skills:

  • Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point;
  • Well-developed social skills and cross-cultural experience;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with a range of different people;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (German would be a plus);
  • Written and verbal commmunication skills;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Organizational skills.
