Purchase Assistant Manager

Box Elyte  is a dynamic and creative manufacturer of luxury packaging for chocolates and patisserie. The company was created in 2010 by a Belgian entrepreneur who still runs the business with his wife and a young creative team.

Our boxes go to the best chocolatiers around the world, our biggest markets are France, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands.

BOX ELYTE is growing already for 10 years, our perspective and feedback from the market gives us the certainty that our company will continue to grow in the next years. We have built a second manufactory hall in Fibis, country of Timis, therefore we need to increase our team.

Job description:

• Working with the purchasing manager to run the purchasing department 
• Understand the project: product, manufacturing, personalization, production, logistics, delivery
• Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and keeping  the departments informed of the evolution of the orders and delivery times
• Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company
•  Keep track of the orders
• Maintaining purchase records
• Assisting with analyses and reports
• Assisting with the inspection of goods
• Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies
• Keep accurate records of purchases made

Requirements:

• Advanced level of English is obligatory
• Experience working as a purchasing assistant in a production house is preferred
• Good knowledge of MS Office including advanced Excel skills
• School Certificate
• Experience working in apparel industry will be an advantage
