QA Automation Engineer

 The ideal candidate should have: 

• Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining test frameworks for back-end and front-end testing;
• Hands on experience with any of the following programming languages: Java, C#;Python
• Hands on experience in using test and defects management tools – Jira, HP ALM, Zephyr
• Knowledge ofautomation test tools like Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, HP UFT, jUnit, TestNG, Soap UI
• DB knowledge – MS SQL Server or Oracle
• Demonstrable GUI testing experience
• Continuous Integration experience (TeamCity or Jenkins))
• Experience using testing frameworks (TestNG or JUnit)
• Experience with web service testing (REST or SOAP)
• Experience using build systems (Gradle or Maven)
• Experience working with IT solutions in the banking industry or financial business areas would constitute an advantage;
• Experience in mentored QA Engineers on building on top of automation test systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self Drive, ownership and initiative

As a QA Automation Engineer your main responsibilities will involve: 

• Analyze business and technical requirements and define test automation approach
• Analyze, design and execute test cases and test scripts
• Report and monitor issues
• Design and implementation of Automation framework, conduct tools selection
• Test Environments design, configuration and maintenance
• Integrate test suites in a Continuous Integration environment
• Oversee the creation and execution of repeatable automated test suites
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to refine automation processes
• Continuously improve, augment and update the automated test suites
• Mentor and coach automation engineers on best practices
• Organize, facilitate and conduct trainings
• Gather and present metrics to relevant stakeholders
