Some of your daily activities:

• Take part in continuous knowledge acquisition of EMV Standards from the card schemes
• Lead and take ownership of end to end test and certification cycles for allocated projects
• Ensure and maintain high standards of pass criteria working closely with management and team members to uphold them
• Provide continuous progress updates to the QA and Certification management and be proactive as key issues arises
• Participate in meetings & reviews with customers and team members
• Juggle multiple projects at the same time
• Use the appropriate test tools, and processes to perform QA and Cert functions
• Analyze and collect logs for proactive analysis and defect reporting
• Liaise with acquirers to submit certification results and follow up on progress
• Perform regular updates to configurations across the solution for business as usual tasks (IIN/BIN table updates, terminal configurations etc.)
• Work with other teams’ members to understand customer requirements and help work on possible solutions
• Sometimes write software scripts in Python languages for our various platforms

What qualifications will you need to be successful? 

• 3-5 years of working experience in software testing
• Excellent knowledge of Software Engineering Processes and QA practices
• Ability to understand complex software modules/system and excellent communication skills – ability to work in cross cultural environment
• Excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to understand end-user needs
• Ability to validate hardware and software requirements
• Expertise in issue isolation and problem resolution in both application hardware and software problems
• Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with Software & Hardware engineers
• Perform complex system analysis, design, and identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals
• Expert knowledge in brand testing and brand testing tool
• Analyse, troubleshoot, resolve highly technical system issues and certification issues
• Ability to Debug and/or troubleshoot defects and/or errors
• Ability to organize and bring work assignments to completion and report results with minimal direct supervision
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jama, JIRA, and MS Office

Nice to have:

• Payment domain knowledge
• Software industry experience preferably in a POS, integrated, or embedded systems environment
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP protocols family
• Experience in development of software for embedded systems
• Knowledge of payment systems and related technologies like ISO, EMV etc.
