Ivanti is the brainchild of LANDESK and HEAT Software that combined its powers in 2017. Ivanti offers IT solutions designed to increase user productivity while reducing IT security risk.
 
The R&D center from Bucharest includes over 40 software development professionals who work with multiple technologies, various flavors of Microsoft technologies, mobile technologies etc. Software development is done mainly in C#, but lately C++ too.
 
Ivanti is planning to continue investing in the Romanian center, in terms of office space, the best IT equipment and in hiring and training IT professionals.

QA Engineer

Product overview
Ivanti Endpoint Security (formerly known as HEAT EMSS) is a security suite meant to provide fast, effective, and scalable protection from sophisticated malware and targeted attacks. It achieves this through a layered approach with Patch, Application Control, Device Control and Antivirus. RESPONSIBILITIES
A typical day in our product team entails general software maintenance and feature development. The code base contains C++, C#, SQL with stored procedures as main programming languages along with .NET for our web UI.

• Engineer your way in a product team in a fast-paced environment driven by DevOps principles
• Lead the definition of quality by continuously improving yourself & the team and drive the methods applied for quality assurance
• Develop test plans and functional test that work and adapt within a fast-paced environment
• Collaborates with team to create testable code, including automated testing. Performs debug tasks, root cause analysis, and support for assigned products.
• Collaborates with the Product Team to design software and implement solutions across multiple products.
• Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Ability to accurately estimate effort to complete assigned work.

Required skills and experience: 

• Significant experience needed with generally accepted quality assurance methodologies and best practices
• Good knowledge and understanding of system administration (Active Directory, Certificate Authority)
• Experience in testing large enterprise solutions
• SQL, Stored procedures
• Windows OS Internals
• Basic knowledge of virtualization
• Excellent analytical skills
• Motivation for technical challenges
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Able to conduct complex investigations and information research
• 5+ years of experience
  

Preferred:

• Windows Architecture
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with test automation, Security concepts
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• DevOps experience (CI, CD)
  

Optional:

• Azure Cloud platform and Azure development frameworks or Amazon equivalent
• Azure (Service Fabric) or Amazon equivalent
