QA Engineer

Position overview

We are looking for a QA manual tester to assess software quality through manual testing. On this challenging project, in biometrics and cybersecurity field, you will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs. 

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyzing system specifications;
• Executing test scripts and reviewing results;
• Reporting and documenting technical issues;
• Collaborate with team to develop effective strategies and test plans;
• Execute test cases – manual - and analyze results;
• Report bugs and errors to development teams;
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role;
• Academic degree in the area of computer science, computer engineering, or other related domain;
• Experience with: Jira, GIT, Bitbucket, Scripting, SQL;
• Strong attention to details;
• Outstanding analytical skills;
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies;
• Fluent spoken and written English;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within distributed team composed of people from multiple countries.
