QA Engineer-Platforms

We are looking for a talented and experienced QA Engineer to be part of the Platforms QA Team. Members of the Team test a highly complex product requiring a low-level understanding of Networking and Cyber Security.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the software development team during the product design phase;
• Define clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios;
• Build and execute automation test cases and test suites;
• Collaborate in a cohesive, energetic, cross-functional and open environment;
• Solve technical problems and improve our systems;
• Execute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure its quality;
• Verify fixes of customer-found (support) bugs and release fixes to production;
• Estimate, plan and coordinate testing activities within the Scrum and with the automation team;
• Work independently with minimal oversight in a dynamic Scrum team environment.

Requirements

Must have:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing of enterprise-grade, client-server software products;
• Previous experience in developing automation;
• Programming skills in Python/Perl/bash;
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process;
• Excellent analytics, problem-solving and debugging skills;
• Ability to review requirement and build testing automation coverage;
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and process;
• Experience in testing of complex SW applications;
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment;
• Team player, a strong sense of urgency attitude, creative with good communication skills.

Nice to have:

• . in computer science or an equivalent engineering field;
• Knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity, related risks and mitigation technologies;
• Experience with web-based network management system;
• Experience with testing Microservice architecture application.
