We are looking for a QA Engineer

Auka has created Settle — the mobile payment app for people and businesses across Europe. Besides cutting-edge technology and a bold vision to make digital money universally available and useful, Auka is the result of amazing people working together. 

We are not a family, but a strong team of caring individuals. The company has had a fantastic journey, but to scale and write the next chapter in our story we are looking for a dedicated, ambitious and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer. 

We have been around for a while, but we’re still a start-up in our heart and minds, so we all have many roles and responsibilities. We’re looking for an experienced, self-driven QA Engineer to supercharge our quality process and help us deliver an outstanding user experience.

We’re a small team and everyone has a hand in almost everything, but you will lead our testing program, with a particular eye to automating front-end testing. Our app, Settle, is built on React Native and interfaces with a backend on the Google Cloud Platform. We have high quality goals; you will help us reach them reliably and with minimal toil.

You are

• Very experienced with mobile app or website testing

• Significantly experienced with automating front-end tests

• Familiar with CI/CD tools

• Familiar with logging, monitoring and error reporting tools

• Self-motivated

• Passionate for high product quality and efficient workflows

You will

• Plan and organize testing processes

• Create, run and automate test cases

• Work with the Product team to understand and document requirements

• Work with developers to investigate and report actionable issues

At this point, we are expanding in Romania, where we’re looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our international team and help us connect consumers with businesses with our instant and secure mobile payment solution.
