As a software tester you will need to:

write and execute test scripts
work with software developers and project support teams
carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
run manual and automated tests
test in different environments including web and custom networking setups
write bug reports
review documentation
provide objective feedback to software development project teams
design tests to mitigate risk
present findings to software development and business user teams, to technical and non-technical colleagues
work on multiple projects at one time
liaise with project teams in other parts of the world
conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Requirements:

proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
ability to document and troubleshoot errors
excellent communication skills
attention to detail
analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
strong organizational skills
up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
