Quality Assurance Tester

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Cluj.

At NetMatch we build complex web applications and back office integration solutions for our clients operating in the travel industry and you will play an important role in helping us achieve this goal, while improving our testing processes and align them with the requirements.

You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. You must have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work successfully.

Your Mission:

• Depending on your expertise, the project and the specific situation at a particular moment, your involvement in the development team means that you’ll do some or all of the following:
• Define a test approach based on the project or release specifications and bring solid arguments for your choice of test techniques (functional-, scenario-, domain-, performance-, security-, automated-, mobile testing etc.)
• Analyze specifications and discuss implementation details with the requirements engineer /product owner and the developers
• Coordinate with fellow testers and other team members to make sure you meet the testing goal and project deadlines
• Discuss the project risks with the project manager and developers and agree on the testing mission
• Drive quality within the team by writing automated tests for features.
• Document and communicate your findings (not only bugs) in a comprehensive and structured way.
• You will also be encouraged to develop your soft skills (facilitating, mentoring, writing, presentation), alongside your technical testing skills.

The Must Haves:

• You think critically about your work and you know that usually there’s more than one point of view worth considering in any given situation
• You are capable of organizing your own work (also when working on more than one project at the same time)
• You have excellent English communication skills
• You have the ability to communicate ideas to team members and explain technical systems to non-technical audiences
• Previous experience in software testing is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Automation or related fields.
