We are looking for a Quality Engineer for a 6 months' contract to join our centre of excellence for manufacturing in Brasov, Romania. This position is a dynamic role, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for executing the site project plans, for example New Product Introduction.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Working with onsite Quality, Production and Design to assess and recommend corrective actions where needed and follow them with corrective action reports;
- Support New Product Introduction activities within the site in close cooperation with different departments;
- Responsible for coordination and execution of onsite form, fit and function testing required for PPAP of parts, attaining all required site approvals and feeding back to relevant functions;
- Support different site projects developing a strong relationship within cross functional teams including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering and others;
- Support site Quality issues outside of supplier cause in extreme cases.
What Skills & Experience Do You Need?
- Degree in an engineering or technical discipline or equivalent non-technical degree with experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Engineering or Technical Role.
- Technical and analytic skills with experience in supplier manufacturing processes from the automotive industry of equivalent.
- Hands on, practical experience with Flow charts / FMEA / Control Plans. Good knowledge in PPAP/PSW.
- Good knowledge in MSA and statistical tools and methods (Capability analysis).
- Good understanding of APQP. Proficiency in English, oral and written;
- Project lead experience is meritorious.

In this position you'll do everything in quality - from high to low, so it's important that you're not a prestigious person! The role requires a happy-get-it-done attitude and a natural sense for structure, to make sure your team is on schedule and meeting deadlines.
