Quality Engineer for SW development - Timisoara

Responsibilities:

•  Perform SW development activities:
• Analyzing SW requirements, architecture and interfaces
• Development in C++ and maintenance of demonstrators based on Adaptive AUTOSAR platform
• Support the definition and improvement of SW development processes

• Perform quality engineering activities:

• Create and maintain the strategy for quality assurance and plan corresponding activities within the project in coordination with project manager and quality management
• Report the quality status of the product and processes on a regular basis
• Derive and track quality action items
• Actively involved in the automation/optimization of the quality assurance by providing requirements or implementing the tools that support this

Required knowledge:

• University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics or similar
• Good knowledge of C++ programming language and Cmake
• Good knowledge of Python scripting languages
• Good knowledge in embedded software development environments and tools including IDE, editors, compilers, linkers, emulators, debuggers, analysis and monitoring tools
• Knowledge about the verification and testing of software and associated tools
• Knowledge in SW engineering, process maturity models and in quality assurance
• Basic experience in quality assurance (software development)
• Highly motivated to take over the initiative and responsibility
• Self-confident and experienced in communication
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Open-minded and able to convince by arguments
