Quality Specialist

Overall objective:

To achieve, control and maintain consistent quality of Unilever products (Food, including ice cream and HPC), through the extended distribution chain (warehousing, transport, on shelf), to manage consumer complaints.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year relevant experience in quality
• Relevant experience in food industry
• Good level of English – mandatory
• Digital skills – Microsoft office

Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all legal requirements are met.
• To perform regularly, based on USCE Distribution Chain Quality Manual and Unilever quality standards, quality technical visits in USCE region distribution warehouses for USCE products: HPC products, Food products including Ice Cream. (including transport)
• To provide to all distributors the information and relevant documentation regarding to Unilever requirements
• To ensure that all distribution warehouses comply with Unilever standards and do not compromise the quality and safety for Unilever products (either Food stuff, Ice Cream and HPC);
• To record and monitories the nonconformities established during audits and to supervise the follow up of corrective / preventive actions.
• To update the Distribution Chain Quality Manual according to Unilever storage / transport requirements and to cascade the edition in charge together with storage appendixes (Food, HPC), to all departments involved.
• To identify and implement solutions for storage condition improvement and to work closely with warehouse representative to achieve and maintain a high standard of quality
• To ensure the best quality for the products on shelf by identifying the defaults for HPC and Food products, to issue QDI reports according to CEE WoW / rules and to communicate the defaults to the relevant persons in order to take proper corrective / preventive actions and to follow the results of this actions.
• To act according to the SHE Standards and Company procedures
• To complete other duties as requested by line manager, that are not mentioned in the job description, but are closely connected with Company activities
• EE collaboration level
