Expert for production of TECHNICAL PLASTIC PARTS

In Purchasing, you are responsible for the selection and qualification of suppliers for technical plastic parts as well as further development of our methods and processes in supplier development

• You have the functional lead worldwide for technical plastic parts within GE;
• You are responsible together with purchasing for the selection and approval of new suppliers and set internal Quality requirements and those of our customers at our suppliers;
• You are support together with purchasing and logistic organization in supplier evaluation;
• You are responsible together with purchasing organization for definition of material group strategy;
• You are responsible for carrying out audits and CIP Programs with our suppliers;
• In the situation of deviations, initiate immediate measures at an early stage and determine the causes;
• You are support our production plants in supplier escalations;
• You lead sustainable process optimization and check them for their effectiveness;
• You develop and implement our quality processes and tools these in our global purchasing organization.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed technical studies in mechanical engineering or mechatronics;
• Several years of experience in the areas of plastic parts production;
• Good experience with technologies and materials used in injection molding;
• Good experience in tooling and/or tool design;
• Experience in the selection of production, automation and test equipment used in injection molding;
• Good knowledge of quality management (VDA, ISO TS16949) and project management;
• Good communication skills, initiative, assertiveness;
• Very good knowledge of English, willingness to travel and mobility.
