This is a great opportunity to join our business in the role of Regional Key Account Marketing Activation Manager Europe, as part of our wider Regional Marketing Team in our Motorparts EMEA Division. This role can be performed from any location in Eastern Europe. 

In this position, you will be responsible for providing a consistent Marketing experience for the IKAM customers within DRiV portfolio. In that context, as the Regional Key Account Marketing Activation Manager you will ensure that the requirements from IKAM customers are consolidated into a consistent IKAM approach. Those requirements are provided for regional development by the Marketing teams and the Global Business Units. 

The role will oversee the local implementation and ensure a consistent customer strategy and approach aligned with the overall EMEA Marketing strategies and the planned marketing approach. The IKAM customers will also be used for innovation purposes and the Regional Key Account Marketing Manager is responsible for working closely with Category Management, Brand, Business Units and each of the Regional Marketing Managers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the overall customer strategy and approach aligned with the EMEA Marketing strategies, in terms of growth of core Brands and product lines and supporting Marketing activities consistent with the Customer Development Plan
  • Support and proactively manage relationships with a range of key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Work closely with the Regional Marketing Director EMEA to implement the Marketing Strategies for the Customer Development Plan
  • Ensure a consistent Marketing approach across the IKAM customers in all EMEA countries by creating an annual Marketing plan by IKAM customer and in that context, work closely with local teams to monitor implementation of the planned execution
  • Support the Regional Marketing Managers and the local Key Account Managers to implement the defined plan. This is a cross functional environment, interacting with different countries and services
  • Ensure high level of relationship management with the IKAM customers and work closely with key accounts to ensure that our brands and products are well positioned in line with the agreed Customer Development Plan
  • Work closely with Category Management to analyze Product portfolio penetration and performance at IKAM level
  • Support recommendations for new activities through analysis of sales data (Category Management) and through monitoring the success of the trade marketing activities
  • Ensure continuous strong alignment with local sales (activity calendars)
  • Share best practices among the EMEA Region
  • Share strategic insights with KAM, Sales Managers and Business Unit Directors to support selling initiatives and gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of organization
  • Ensure that all plans and activities are done with Profitability and Sustainable Growth in mind (ROI approach)

What will make you successful

  • min. 5 to 10 years experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the Aftermarket
  • min. 5 years of marketing and/or product experience
  • Bachelor degree in technical or business field
  • Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
  • Marketing and sales knowledge and experience, particularly with very large and complex customers
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization
  • Ability to travel in Europe
  • Savvy with customers from other cultures and countries
  • Ability to plan activities with many complex variables and/or in the medium and long term
  • Ability to take structural actions to achieve results
  • Ability to adapt actions to sensitivities, needs and wishes of internal (colleagues) and external customers, even when they are not directly expressed
  • Ability to comply with existing and generally applicable standards and values and execute own tasks properly, honestly and consistently. You make decisions respecting the ethical standards and taking the company policy into account
  • Ability to anticipate and act proactively with respect to the market and competitors
  • Ability to take actions promoting the organization’s strategic development
