Regular Python Engineer

You will be part of a multi-national team responsible for the development of the next generation SDN (Software-Defined Networking) solution for Data Center networking.
The solution targets Data Centers for large organizations, including private/hybrid/public cloud environments. It is addressing the needs of users requiring an easier option than switch-by-switch, CLI-based approaches and can automate time-consuming tasks such as the configuration of L2-L3 network devices.
The controller uses microservice architecture, the components will communicate via REST APIs and will also provide a user-friendly web-based user interface on the front-end.

We are looking for an experienced Python developer to contribute to the development of a log analysis tool for an application that monitors various network performance statistics and provides extensive visibility into the traffic flows. Your responsibilities will also include improving the current development process and you will have the opportunity to be involved in selecting the right tools to be used.

• Responsibilities:
  - Contribute to the development of the log analysis tool based on Grafana and InfluxDB
  - Update the development pipeline
  - Writing and updating documentation
  - Develop unit tests
• Mandatory Skills: 
  * 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python
  * Experience with administering Linux systems and Shell scripting
  * Experience with building/ testing/ deploying microservices
  * Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  
  Soft skills required:
  * Very good written and spoken English
  * Work effectively in a distributed team
  * Self-starter attitude, willingness to take initiative
  * Problem-solving attitude, ability to analyze business requirements and propose fixes
  * Willing to learn and deliver using a wide range of technologies
  * Good communication skills and team player
• Nice-to-Have Skills:
  * Understanding of containerization and virtualization concepts
  * Hands-on experience using Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare
  * Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining CI tools such as Jenkins
  * Hands-on experience using ELK Stack
  * Hands-on experience using Grafana
  * Hands-on experience with log analysis tools
