Remote Senior Backend Developer (Python)

We’re looking for an experienced Backend developer to help us build robust code and beautiful APIs. There’s a small team and everyone has a hand in almost everything, but your primary task starting will be to help develop and maintain the transaction engine, which sits between our apps, our merchants, and the banks.

Job requirements:

• Several years’ experience building robust and scalable backends
• Experience with Python or other dynamic languages
• Experience from working with transactions, and idempotent APIs
• An interest in building modern financial services that challenge the old and entrenched players in the payment space

Nice to have:

• Experience with any of the following technologies:

○ Google App Engine

○ Google Datastore (NoSQL) for storage

○ Google BigQuery

○ Flask
