Role overview:
The jobholder has accountability for reporting business with revenue & margin performance, providing reporting / analysis, driving standardization, continuous improvement and consistency across aligned accounts.
This role transforms data into information that can be utilized to make business decisions and actions.
Reporting analysts frequently work across business lines, conferring with managers and executives to gather requirements and specifications while developing enhanced data and reporting tools. They work directly with team leaders to gain a better sense of the current shortcomings in reporting technology and devise solutions to enhance reporting and data management.
The key responsibilities of the role include but are exclusive to:
- Responsible for daily / weekly / monthly / Quarterly reporting on business trends and account performance
- Develop/Maintenance/Improve Microsoft Access Databasese, including tables, queries, forms and reports
- Use Visual Basic in Microsoft Applications, including Excel & Accesses
- Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulash and graphing to streamline business process
- Prepare business documents and presentations for upper management and executives
- Adhere to the timelines as specified by the client for deliverables
- Validating the QBR / MBR output
- Manage escalations and offer assistance in complex issues
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to determine reporting requirments and develop appropriate solutions for new reports and modification of existing ones
- Service improvement planning including root cause analysis, identifying issues and proposing improvement within the Database
- Designing and developing reporting tools that are then deployed across the organization.
- Attends/presents business presentation for upper management
- Provide input around SLA contractual calculation and mitigation in line with contractual agreements
What you need to have
- Advanced level of English (both spoken and written)
- Medium knowledge of Microsoft Excel VBA & SQL database experience or understanding;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions and formulas;
- Demonstrated teamwork and adaptable to workgroup environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Economics or equivalent;
- Web development programming language is a plus;
- Experience with large data bases and understanding;
- Demonstrated excellent customer care, satisfaction and interpersonal skills
- Solid planning and organizing ability
- High level of motivation, maturity & dependability under high pressure situations
- Ability to build strong relationships with remote teams
- Experience in working within a shared services environment
- Immaculate attention to detail
