Reservation Agent/Administrator:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Reservation Agent to assist our customers with their booking needs.
You will provide various planning and booking services, including answering customers’ questions, making travel suggestions, progressing bookings and ensuring all guests have the relevant arrival details are shared with the guest prior to their arrival.

To be successful as a Reservation Agent you must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills. Additionally, you should be able to up-sell and have excellent site knowledge to ensure enquiries are dealt with at first contact.

Over the next 6-12 months our client plans to establish a team of agents in Iasi, Romania and will look to appoint a team leader. The first agent will be well positioned to grow into this role.

Customer management and sales:

♦ Monitoring booking channels and responded to enquires within 1 hour of receipt.
♦ Contact bookers to understand travellers needs and ensure correct guest details are obtained.
♦ Ascertain if additional services and add can be up sold such as parking, early or late check out.
♦ Promoting internal sales campaigns to customers
♦ Pass internal referrals where corporate bookings are identified.
♦ Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
♦ Resolving any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
♦ Answering customers queries arising from the reservation process or the property in question.
♦ Providing support to customers who amend or cancel reservations.

Operations/ Administration:

♦ Organising housekeeping rotas and daily site staffing requirements.
♦ Assisting with supplies ordering and stock balances.
♦ Manging linen supplies and collection schedules.
♦ Maintaining site monitoring systems.
♦ Contact guests to discuss bookings, issues and disturbances.
♦ Liaising with security contractors.

Reservation Agent Requirements:

♦ Exceptional customer service.
♦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
♦ Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
♦ Desire to learn and take pride in their job.
♦ Hospitality industry experience preferred
♦ Very good spoken English
♦ Very Strong Communications skills.
♦ Good emotional intelligence
♦ Good Multi Tasker
♦ Keen to work on new technologies
♦ Keen to grow with fast expanding business

Working hours from 3pm – 11pm – UK hours – 5 days a week on a flexible rota Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday with potential scope for overtime.
