Road Transport Planner

UNIMASTERS LOGISTICS SRL – fast growing, logistics solutions provider, searching for a new member of our team of professionals on the position of:

ROAD TRANSPORT PLANNER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans daily all domestic groupage transports by comparing and choosing the best option
• Executes and manages daily the requests for FTL/LTL domestic shipments
• Negotiates rates with supplier if the case. Strictly respects the profitability of the tariffs
• Enters daily information in the operation system – orders to the hauliers, costs, incomes, routing of the shipments
• Ensures that all information is correct on daily basis, so the processing of the documentation, including invoices, is done smoothly by the other departments
• Monitors the transport fulfilment on daily basis per shipment and keeps informed clients, partners or agent or internal customers if the case
• Gives rates if the case

WHAT DO WE EXPECT:

• Highly organized professional with attention to deadline, details and results
• Experience in the field of road freight forwarding services at least 2 years
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Persuasive and persistent
• Very good command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Sound computer literacy – MS Office, business e-mail
