Role Summary: The Salesforce Business Administrator is the key interface between business and the Salesforce platform, with a focus on providing ongoing administrative support, implementing new system features, and supporting the overall implementation & release management cycle in Salesforce.
As a Salesforce Business Administrator your focus will be upon:
System administration and user support - manage incoming case queues and adhere to SLAs, handling support related queries from internal customers.
System support for the users
- respond and effectively handle end-user inquires of business processes executed in Salesforce
- training of new users
- champion the adoption and utilization of Salesforce within all user groups by providing education and support of business processes
- effectively act as the liaison between our users and the application development/support teams
- error troubleshooting
- ensuring business processes are reflected in SFDC (provide technical requirements to development team to update workflow rules, email notification, email templates, validation rules)
Territory alignment in SFDC
- create/update/remove/realign records in SFDC (manually and mass upload) – Accounts, Campaigns, Opportunities, Contacts, Contracts, and other custom objects
- maintain and ensure high data quality within SFDC
- update/ reconciliate CLM and other interrelated ERP systems (XSAP, ESAP) with SFDC
Data Security
- user management - create/deactivate/update user access
- role tree update (create/delete/amend roles)
- permission updates - analysis, requirements and testing (profiles, permission sets, field level security)
- control access to records - analysis, requirements and testing (sharing rules, public groups, queues management)
Reporting & Data analytics
- develop and deliver recurring/ad-hoc reports and Dashboards at all business levels
- complete data analysis to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvements
System Development - support or own system enhancements projects.
- gather business input and initial assessment
- create technical requirements - work with the development team to implement
- develop test case scenarios
- functional testing, user acceptance testing
- develop training materials and roll out plan
- deliver user training with planned workshops or on request
- provide oversight for multiple business projects at a time, including sharing expertise on standards, guidelines, and design patterns for Salesforce based on industry best practices
What you need to be Successful
- Good verbal and written communication skills - English to a fluent level
- Experience in data management, data analysis, CRMs, ERPs or other data management tools
- MS Excel skills - proficient
- MS Access skills - beginner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee issues and come up with solutions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisation, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritise tasks to meet business requirements and deadlines on your own
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to generate collaboration across peers, business units and functions
- Ability to work with virtual teams
- Good presentation & training skills including Power Point experience
- Salesforce experience is a plus
