Your role

Responsibilities:

• Own, support and enhance and build AWS native infrastructure

• Immerse in the business domain, identifying innovative solutions and technologies that could benefit our business

• Ensure continuous delivery of infrastructure as code through CI/CD pipeline development

• Communicate effectively with global team to capture requirements and relay progress

• Work with the operations team to ensure effective platform support, acquire feedback and look for areas of improvement

• Provide technical direction, leadership and mentorship to a heterogeneous team of developers.

• Own project lifecycles, from conception through to implementation, maintenance and post release support (occasionally out of hours)

About you:
We seek an experienced, technically strong Scrum Master to work in support of major product deliverables on behalf of DeltaOne. You will be expected to work on large scale, challenging projects with cutting edge modern technology and provide continuous integration and delivery. You will contribute to fulfilment of the overall technical direction of the group as directed by the Global Development Leadership.  Ideally, your past experience would be in a technical role such as DevOps Engineer or developer.

Your expertise:

• Experience working with AWS native cloud technologies.

• Experience working with databases including SQL databases (SQL Server preferable)

• Experience with code repository and continuous integration tools such as Gitlab & Artifactory

• Demonstrable experience of working on highly transactional, available and scalable business critical systems

• Good understanding of software architecture; understanding component and application breakdown and interaction

Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience of AWS cloud technologies (Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Dynamo DB, Step Functions, EC2, Fargate etc.)

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as cloud formation or terraform.

• CI/CD Build Tools- experience building pipelines from scratch using tools such as Gitlab.

• Good understanding of AWS networking & security concepts their application and remediation approaches.

• Broad knowledge of Linux and Windows technologies

• Deploying lambdas & other serverless applications

• Reasonable knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes running on Elastic Container Service (ECS)

• Good communication skills
