As Infrastructure Team Manager you are responsible for managing, coordinating and organizing the operation of a team of engineers. You are responsible for increasing the competence maturity and determine the competence proposition together with the product owners. You work proactively on the demonstrable expertise in your team, you build and maintain an Eco System, and ensure that your team is doing the right things.

Job mission:

Cegeka is a System Integrator that provides Managed Services for multiple customers across Europe on a 24 by 7 basis. 

This function currently operates under normal business hours, from Monday to Friday, with the possibility to be extended to a shifts schedule, once the SOC grows. Also, in the future, our analysts will be involved in a 24/7 stand-by schedule that occurs outside business hours.

What you need to do:

As a Security Analyst, you will work as part of the Cegeka Security Operations Center. Your main responsibilities include:

• Security Monitoring:

• Monitor security events received from customer’s monitored servers and then take appropriate action based on customer scenario’s, action plans and procedures
• Review security alerts and execute initial remediation and mitigating actions, or support incident responders in escalations

• Security Incident Analysis

• Contribute continuously to incident response procedures
• Analyse phishing incidents

• Vulnerability Management:
  • Be the first point of contact for everything related to the vulnerability management service internally as well as towards customers;
  • Integrating the vulnerability management solution into SOC’s but also Cegeka’s daily way of working;
  • Become Cegeka’s expert in all tools used to assess vulnerabilities;
  • Be Cegeka’s expert in terms of vulnerabilities, which shows in the ability of providing answers and formulating advice in terms of mitigating vulnerabilities and to perform a risk assessment;
  • Assist the SOC in automating the vulnerability management process by scripting or through continuous improvement of the used toja ja mols;
  • Use vulnerability management as a tool to assess security risks and to formulate long-term action plans in cooperation with Cegeka and its customers.

What you need to know:

• Minimal 3 years professional experience in Information Technology – experience in security it a bonus;
• Creative and ambitious, so showing the ability to support the Cegeka Security Operations Center to continuously improve and innovate;
• Having very strong analytical skills to understand security alerts and vulnerability reports.  Having a solid basic security knowledge to understand the criticality of an alert and how to explain that to an end user;
• Hands-on experience with following technologies is considered a huge plus:
  • Vulnerabilty management tooling
  • Email security
  • Basic network knowledge
  • Basic operating system knowledge
  • Basic scripting knowledge
