Job brief

We are looking for a competent Security & Emergency Situations Responsible to organize and oversee all security operations of our company, including physical and information security to ensure business continuity and assets safety.

As Security & Emergency Situations Responsible, he/she develops and implements policies and procedures to maintain security standards and he/she will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills.

He/she will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety.

The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

Candidate profile: 

• University Degree;
• In depth knowledge in the field of information security & emergency situations;
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in information security and in emergency situations handling;
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (. CCTV )
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Experience in risk analysis for physical security, processing of personal data and protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, manipulation and protection of classified information in Romania, protection of secret service information;
• Advanced negotiation & mediation skills;
• Ability to organize and mobilize the team under conditions of pressure.

• Fluent in English;
• Working knowledge of MS Office

 Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures and Emergency Planning Processes

• Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Review reports on incidents and breaches
• Investigate and resolve issues
• Create reports for management on security status
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (. implementation of new technology)
• Represent the company to any State Institutions regarding Security Certification processes, Emergency Situations processes and protocols, National security laws and standards, and to any 3rd party for security and emergency related issues, certifications, and/or contracts. (ISO27000 series, .)
• Ensure workplace emergency prevention processes are implemented
• Ensure appropriate hazard analysis is undertaken and workplace procedures are implemented
• Initiate, lead and control emergency response, anticipate for further developments
• Maintain records, reports and maintenance record for fire safety equipment
• Provide advice and assistance to management to ensure that all employees participate in fire safety education and that records of education are maintained
• Conduct and Evaluate evacuation exercises and fire drills
• Must possess in-depth knowledge of relevant fire safety codes and regulations as required by Romanian state.
