In Network Systems Management, we support customers with network design, operations, convergence and security. After evaluating the current and future business requirements of our customers, and ensuring compatibility with existing and future environmental integration, we develop, maintain and deliver fully resourced project plans to deliver network systems that meet their precise needs. You will:

• Responsible for making intermediate device configuration changes and working with clients troubleshooting network and security related issues.
• Meet service level agreements related to device change processing.
• Remotely access and manage devices at various global customer locations from a security operations center.
• Manage, participate in, or directly work on any additional projects, assignments, or initiatives assigned by management.

Essential Requirements

• Firewall focused experience
• Understanding of network fundamentals such as OSI model, NAT, ARP & routing principles
• 2-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience:  undergraduate degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience, graduate degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Firewall technology such as CheckPoint, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortigate or SonicWALL
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Understanding of Linux OS & knowledge of basic Linux commands
• A proven ability to independently support and manage client Firewalls, Intrusion Detection security devices, and other security related platforms
• Dedication to client service and passion for learning and security
• Well spoken and articulate containing an attention to detail with excellent writing abilities
• Must be able to communicate technical details in a clear, understandable manner
• Excellent problem solving skills and keen ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Retaining ownership of escalated issues and work to resolution
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams

Desirable Requirements

• Interest in working a different shift temporarily if a requirement arises
• One or more vendor specific certifications such as CCENT, CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security, CCSA, JNCIA, NSE
• Non-vendor specific certifications such as Linux+, Security+, Network+, CISSP or SANS/GIAC Certifications (GCFW, GCIA, and GCIH)
• Intermediate to advanced level of Linux experience including system administration and CLI
• Familiarity with basic scripting or programming such as: PERL, BASH, MySQL, PHP

Location: Campus building, Boulevard Iuliu Maniu, no., near Politehnica Metro Station

Working schedule: You will work on a 24/7 rotating shifts patternbetween 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)
