Security DevOps Engineer

We are looking for new colleagues to join our AUSYTeam. As a Security DevOps Engineer you will be part of the team that deals with the development of combat and information management systems for navy ships, integration with sensor and weapon systems, as well as the development of sensor processing applications.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team;
• You will develop and test the infrastructure platform for the combat management systems, the radar systems and the optical sensor systems;
• You will be responsible for the entire development cycle – requirements analysis, development, testing, validation and demonstrating the current status of the product;
• Investigate and resolve technical issues;
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance;
• Cybersecurity is an integral part of the whole process.

Requirements

• You are a talented DevOps Engineer, with 3-5 years’ experience who enjoys designing, developing and testing complex infrastructure and software solutions;
• With every design decision you take, security is the first thing you consider. Relevant technologies that you will use in your activities include: Linux, Python, Java, TCP/IP networking;
• Nice to have knowledge on: JSON, XML;
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system (in particular RHEL6-8), hardening of the Operating System including SELinux know-how) and knowledge of configuration management tooling (. Ansible) is required;
• Knowledge of IT architecture, network equipment by several vendors and (container) virtualization is preferred;
• Good problem solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Fluent in English;
• University degree in Computer Science, Programming, Electronics or similar areas.
