Security Technical Support Engineer

The position is for the Fusion Applications Technologies team, focus area: Fusion Security.

Fusion Security covers:
•    User, Role provisioning and administration: 
o    user, role administration solution, which automates the process of updating, and deleting user accounts from applications and directories
o    Fusion Applications utilizes this technology via HCM Core Setup application screens, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Authorization Policy Manager (APM) to manage users and their roles
•    Single Sign On functionality:
o    Login, Logout functionality in Fusion Applications
o    The tool used for this functionality is Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
•    Page, Data Security:
o    Enforcing security on Pages, Database objects and instance sets of objects in Fusion Applications
o    The tools used for this are Authorization Policy Manager (APM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) and HCM Core in Fusion Applications
•    Web Services Security:
o    Enforcing security on Web Services used in Fusion Applications
o    The tool used for this is Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM)
•    Security Integration:
o    Identity Management Integration (IDM) with Fusion Applications
o    Integration makes use of IDM tools to achieve this functionality
 

Requirements:
•    (Computer Science) or equivalent preferred.
•    English proficiency.
•    Very good verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Technical Skills:
•    Operating System (Intermediate):  Unix / Windows. 
•    Database Related (Intermediate): SQL;Data Security, Data Scrambling, Data Masking; VPD (Virtual Private Database).
•    ERP Related (Intermediate): Functional Application Security (RBAC – Role Based Access Control) ; Data Security.; Concept of SetID.
•    Fusion Middleware Related (Intermediate).
•    Security: Identity Administration (Identity Store, LDAP). ; Directory Services (OID, OVD).; Access Management (OIM,APM,OAM - Policy management).
•    Server: WebGate, Oracle HTTP Server,  WebLogic Server: WLS architecture ; WLST Script.; Enterprise Manager. ; Securing Web service (Exposure to SSL, Keystore, Credentials, etc)

Analytical Skills:
•    Ready to perform in an ever changing environment with a can-do attitude Must have a support background and well-developed troubleshooting skills.
•    Ability to analyze details and work with incomplete or ambiguous data.
•    Knowledge of Application Installs and Life Cycle management.
•    Analyze log/trace files to debug and fix issues.
•    Ability to test/replicate the issue in labs and provide adequate support to customers.
