Senior Accountant

Job summary:

We are looking for an experienced “Senior accountant” to oversee all accounting and financial cycles including transaction processing and monthly closings, tax, budgeting and statutory reporting as well as management reporting. The senior accountant will focus on reconciling account balances, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.

What are my responsibilities?

- Performs correct postings and checks/reconciliations/reviews of the accounts for the Company;

- Month-end closing procedures and runs other SAP Siemens specific processes - statutory purposes; 

- responsible for local accounting and fiscal reporting for the Company;

- involved in local financial audits, fiscal controls or group audits;

- preparation of statistical reports, statements for the National Bank and other institutions;

- Cooperation with external auditors to carry out periodical external audit processes;

- involved in IFRS reporting and performs the statutory reconciliation with group reporting;

- involved in projects reviews;

- support for commercials colleagues in preparation of tender documentation and KPI’s review.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Economical University Graduate (Finance and/or Accounting); Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics

- Min 4 years experience in accounting/controlling with a big corporation (essential);

- Experience in accounting of inventories and fixed assets

- Functional & Technical competencies related to: Cost accounting, Financial data analysis, reporting skills;

- Deep knowledge of RAS, IFRS (essential);;

- Finance and Accounting certifications (CECCAR, is an advantage).

- Knowledge of SAP is a big advantage;

- Proficient in MS Office applications: advanced Excel, Word

- Excellent team working skills

- Ability to meet the deadlines

- Trustful, disciplined, self-motivated, well-organized;

- High sense of responsibility

- Fluency in English
