Senior accountant

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintains daily records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting documents in according with Romanian regulations
- Does monthly reconciliation of the assigned GL accounts, Account Payables, Account Receivable, Fixed Assets Accounting/ Module, Inventory Accounting
- Validation of the values included in trial balance and/or P&L accounts
- Reconciling the VAT statements with the positions from balance sheet
- Analysing, checking and preparing accounting records for the above mentioned transactions
- Prepares accurate all the taxes, make all the financial reporting needed according to Romanian legislation (including corporate tax)
- Maintains relation with local authorities, statistics, NBR
- Submit the declarations, financial statement to the local state
- Is actively involved in month end closing process for group and local reporting
- Offers support during internal and external audits and yearly Stocktaking
- Implements projects related to accounting processes
- Prepares various reports as required

Candidate's profile:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Finance & Accounting;
- University degree in Finance & Accounting;
- Knowledge of local tax legislation and IFRS regulations;
- Fluent English, written & spoken 
- Strong knowledge of MS Office 
- Knowledge in ERP Systems preferred
- Independent and hardworking, self-motivated, well organized and very responsible
- Reliable & accurate, team oriented, able to work under time pressure
- Very good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize;
- Proactive response to changes

Skills that are considered a plus:
- CECCAR / ACCA certificate.
- Experience in ERP Systems
