Heimdal Security – Senior Accountant

The role is to work as a Senior Accountant based in Bucharest for our international subsidiaries.

The candidate must be a self-starter, collaborative, highly curious and fast learner to understand how to apply learning of business operating model and get involved as required in a thriving ‘start up’ environment. A plus will be to have experience of working within an international rapidly growing team as to be able to manage ambiguity and not afraid to ask questions.

What are the responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions and reconciliation for the group companies related to A/R, A/P, G/L, banks, payroll and Intercompany transactions

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting as well compliance with statutory and international requirements of subsidiaries

• Successfully complete month-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner, offering support to the management

• Provide accurate, complete and timely data for monthly statutory reporting, reporting to external auditors, fiscal authorities & other local authorities of subsidiaries.

• Participating to or leading (if required) Continuous Improvement projects with the purpose of implementing best practices across European Heimdal Security subsidiaries

• Work closely with the Sales Ops and Financial Planning and Analysis teams

What are we looking for?

In addition of 3 to 5 years’ experience working within a finance department environment, with meaningful accounting experience required (GL/AP/AR), especially closing activities, candidates will also need to demonstrate the following qualities:

• Detail-oriented with good knowledge over (IFRS) accounting principles and procedures.

• Competency with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)

• Strong analytical skills and excellent time management ability to prioritise a demanding workload

• Excellent Excel skills and office

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Qualified Accountant/ Partially qualification ACCA/CIMA/ CPA will be a plus
