Summary:
- Performs general accounting functions for Romania in a global accounting operations environment.
- Coordinates or performs accounting functions for various general ledger accounts and foreign currencies including the preparation and/or review of payroll, journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, analysis, and reporting to support the preparation of financial statements.
- Ensures compliance with internal control requirements and financial policies. Provides accurate and timely audit information as requested
Responsibilities:

- Updates weekly the payroll application with employee record changes andrepares monthly the internal database foronuses and in kind benefits.
- Uploads monthly the time and attendance report in the payroll application, filling in the required fields for medical leaves both in the application and on the medical certificates.
- Updates the payroll application with the monthly lists of bonuses, in kind benefits and deductions and prepares the payroll reports anderforms the reviews of final payroll report for accuracy.
- Exports pay-slip data, uploads salary payments into the banking portal, validates the 112 tax return.
- Updates monthly theayroll accrual in salary proofs for the bank.
- Prepares payment batchesn Oracle 11i and Oracle Fusion and uploads them in the banking application anddds manual payments,henever needed.
- Updates cash forecasts andeports cash actuals.
- Performs review and reconciliation foronetaryFX proof) and non-monetaryoreign currency balances (phantom balances).
- Prepares reconciliation for all payroll related balance sheet accounts, based on the USGAAP and the statutory Trial Balances.
- Updates the fixed asset application for statutory tracking and prepares the lists for annual counting.
- Providing data to the National Institute of Statistics
- May generate financial reports for internal and/or external use anday interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders.
- May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with . GAAP, tax and other accounting regulations.
- Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years related experience.
- Proficient in usage of Excel and other MS Office applications.
