We are seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer to join our Systems Management & Visualisation Programming team responsible for providing our customers with interactive visualisations and developing technical solutions for improving business operations.
Suitable candidates for this role will have strong technical expertise (SQL, Python, html, CSS, JavaScript) and the business acumen to gather requirements from colleagues, design, document & develop new technical solutions, scripts and/or integrations.
We’re looking for an innovator with imagination and ingenuity who can modify, enhance or adapt existing systems; and effectively implement new features or improvements, with the aim of enhancing business effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the smooth running, continuing development of encapsia reporting and systems including:
- Creating online interactive visualizations & Insights for Cmed’s clinical trial databases utilising Cmed’s next generation Data collection and Management System ‘encapsia’
- Mapping and documenting interfaces between legacy and new systems allowing more streamlined reporting.
- Designs and program application/solution for designated projects through the entire project lifecycle (. from specifications & design documents developed during analysis).
- Perform testing and/or validation for Data and Analytics systems.
- Perform ongoing maintenance of assigned systems including bug tracking, enhancements, change control, authoring documentation and providing training and best practices.
Qualifications & attributes:
- Degree in computer sciences, life sciences, and/or 5 years equivalent relevant experience
- Sound conceptual knowledge of application development, database development, and platforms.
- Relevant experience within a Systems Integration, Database Programming or other similar discipline preferably within pharmaceutical setting.
- Experience of programming within an application or database environment.
- Sound understanding of SQL, web-frameworks (CSS, JQuery, JavaScript etc.) and object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrable experience and modelling data from external systems and reporting on data to business stakeholders. For example, connecting to a REST-API, performing SQL queries to provide business Insights or actions.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and the ability to communicate technical concepts and information to non-technical staff
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills
