 We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Applications Architect experienced in Agile methodology and fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Dublin, Ireland. The work will be carried out on site at customer premises. In the context of this assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

 Your tasks:

• Lead the software development of product features including web portals, integration, workflow automation and business intelligence;
• Acting as Scrum Master, embed the principles and practices of Agile Scrum within the team and across the organisation in order to deliver quality software in a predictable, dependable way;
• Provide technical leadership to guide, mentor and develop the software development team;
• Work in conjunction with the Solution Architect to design and develop a robust technical architecture platform;
• Play an active part in ensuring the software development process follows the established technical governance for aspects such as architecture, security, data and quality.

Your skills:

• Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or IT-related discipline;
• Minimum 7 years of demonstrable technical experience in developing Microsoft solutions to deliver functionality such as portal capabilities, workforce management, process automation, document management and others;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in application and integration development using Microsoft Azure IAAS and PAAS functions to build robust, scalable solutions in the public cloud;
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing a Scrum Master role with proven ability to mentor and evangelise Agile principles and practices within the team and across the organisation;
• Experience in writing technical documentation and of presenting technical concepts to stakeholders at multiple levels;
• Ability to integrate in an international environment and to cooperate well in a team;
• Excellent command of English language.
