Responsibilities:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have a leading role in the agile development cycle in the RegTech area during the introduction/extension of our Abacus software product Abacus Banking. This entails:
- Analyzing complex regulations and/or business/client specific requirements of the national and international Banking Authorities, e. g. regarding liquidity, own funds, credit risk, AnaCredit, FinRep, loan and statistical reporting.
- Designing, implementing, testing, and documenting complex (e. g. regulatory) requirements, new features or software improvements under consideration of the functional architecture and the data model
- Training, coaching and mentoring of colleagues. Working closely with national and international colleagues at all hierarchy and skill levels within the organization, e. g. Software Engineers, Architects, Test System Operators, etc.
- Providing customer support and organizing/leading internal and external workshops.
- Assuming functional responsibility for individual topics, sub-projects and sub-modules and analyzing overarching regulatory requirements which affect cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university studies in the field of business administration, computer science or natural sciences
- Subject matter expert in the area of banking and regulatory reporting of credit institutions . expert for liquidity (LCR, NSFR, ALMM), asset encumbrance, own funds, credit risk, FinRep, loan, AnaCredit or national statistical reporting.
- Very good level of English, German is a plus.
- Affinity to IT and to technologies such as XML, SQL or XBRL would be a plus.
- Understanding of agile software development would be a plus.
