Wyser Romania is the international company within the Gi Group in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management professionals.

 

We are looking for a Senior Category Manager at the highest quality standards for our partner, a top Wholesale Company.

 

Responsibilities: 

    • Contributes to the company’s strategy and targets to improve MS, customer satisfaction (gaining preferred supplier recognition) and brand performance;
    • Works closely with key customers to provide category and shopper insights and drive performance;
    • Acquires and develops strategic Category Management projects with customers;
    • Market category analyzes and expertise, to enable regular presentation to customers based on intern or extern market and research data;
    • Develops and implements merchandising concepts;
    • Defines the optimal sorting, primary and secondary placement on the channel and /or store;
    • Cooperates with CEE Trade Marketing and Category Management – sends regular feedback, adapts CEE projects, sends and requests examples of best practices;
    • Develops together with Marketing listing priorities and placement guidelines for all brands;
    • Monitores regularly the competitive environment with proposals for countermeasures;
    • Gathers, analyzes and provides relevant market information to KAMs;

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree or higher prefered in Marketing / Economics / Finance;
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Category Management or similar roles;
    • MS Office: good knowledge of all applications necessary, very good knowledge of Excel;
    • Good / very good command of English – writing / reading / speaking;
    • Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing or Key Account Management experience is an advantage;
    • Decisiveness and risk taking;
    • Leadership capabilities;
    • Strategic skills.

    • Location: Bucharest, Dorobanti - Aviatiei;
