Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in several challenging police and governmental projects.

We want you to:

• Work in an Agile team to implement and deploy the Jenkins service on our client’s private cloud and/or public cloud platforms, including installation, configuration, monitoring and alerts, automation of routine tasks, disaster recovery, etc.;
• Design and Troubleshoot Docker based environments (Kubernetes, Openshift);
• Maintain and implement development pipelines: automated testing, continuous integration (CI, Jenkins);
• Analyze and resolve technical problems in a High Availability infrastructure;
• Guarantee system availability and security, analyze and fix disturbances in operations;
• Implement integrations requested by customer;
• Investigate and resolve technical issues;
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance;
• Make automatic installations, as well as warning and monitoring of diverse services.

Requirements

• Proficiency and proven work experience with the following technologies: private CLOUD, Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, VMWare, KVM (Ubuntu), Openstack, Jenkins.
• Expert-level knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery concepts and best practices;
• Academic degree in the area of computer science, computer engineering, or other related domain;
• Outstanding analytical skills;
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies;
• Fluent spoken and written English;
• Strong attention to details;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within distributed team composed of people from multiple countries;
• Willingness to work in an Agile team but also be self-directed with high engagement.
