Skills and Qualifications

- 2+ years’ industry experience working with data;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel – pivot tables and VBA macros skills a plus;
- Experience in ERP systems (preferably Oracle);
- Understanding of the database structures, theories, principles, and practices is a plus;
- Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques preferred;
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities required;

- Strong written, technical documentation and oral communication skills;
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language;
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
- Educational & Proficiency level: University graduate in Computer Science or Economics;
- Languages: Fluent in English.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

- Work under the Data Governance (DG) Lead to help uphold data governance policies and standards to ensure consistent data definitions and monitor overall data quality in system such as, but not limited to: OracleE- Business Suite, Salesforce, Hyperion, and Yellowfin.
- Ensure that data management methodologies include the steps, activities, and deliverables required to consistently
achieve high-quality data.
- Ensure that the applications adhere to defined DG practices, policies and procedures. Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Set up of all new customers and suppliers in Oracle system (ensuring there are no duplicate items created and that customers are set up in correct hierarchy);
- Ensure that the applications adhere to defined DG practices, policies and procedures. Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Update of process flow charts relating to master data in the systems (chart of accounts, customers, suppliers, project
codes etc);
- Review all users of the Oracle ebiz tool to ensure the accesses provided are appropriate and maintain a segregation of duties checklist to ensure that the company does not run any potential fraud risks or misuse of the system;
- Interprets and communicates complex research outcomes and provides recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives to senior management through written, verbal, and visual methods, in ways that advocate for multiple users and generate compelling reasons to change.
- Executes report development and analytical activity to generate data that is used to drive measurable improvement in business performance metrics/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Create appropriate delivery materials (Powerpoint and Word);
- Perform ad-hoc analysis requests, which can involve merging datasets, cleaning data, analysis and interpretation.
- Perform additional process analysis, implementation as requested by the management team.
- Participate in formal project teams and activities to help implement DG guidelines
- Introduce innovations that enable us to understand our customers better and more efficiently.
