Senior Data Architect & Team Manager

Your main responsibilities would be:

• The development and implementation of a data centric environment
• Explore, analyse and model system requirements in order to develop solution design specifications for new and existing reporting requirements
• Understand business processes, applications and how data is gathered
• Define standards for modelling, naming, governing and delivering data develop and maintain processes and standards to enable data access, reporting, quality and master data management
• The analysis and documentation of the mapping of data between systems
• Build data expertise and own data quality for various data flows
• Launch and support new data models that provide intuitive analytics to internal customers
• Work with internal data consumers to understand data needs
• Collaborate with multiple teams in high transparency roles and own the solution end-to-end
• Perform administration of data warehouse environment including server, database, reporting and data integration platforms
• Perform production deployments of data warehouse changes
• Lead a team of 2-3 reporting specialists in order to accommodate group wide business reporting and data analytics needs 
• Educate / coach / mentor team members

Expertise that we are looking for:

• Extensive hands-on experience designing all tiers of the solution architecture
  • Experience designing, building and maintaining data processing systems
  • A solid understanding of ETL pipelines and integration methodologies
  • Combined skills in: Data Analysis, Data Migration Tools Knowledge, Data Modelling, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Database Design
  • Ability to analyse data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery
• Experience working with Qlik Sense
  • Understanding of current product trends and technology innovations
  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
