Senior Data Quality Analyst

About the Role

Senior Data quality analyst will be part of a newly establishing team and will report to the third-party data manager who is located in Amsterdam. He/she will create, own, and maintain data scope, data flow, data lineage, data definitions, and data dictionary changes and business quality rules of Corporate and Securities data. The role is suitable for a person who is good at handling and integrating data, it is a promising role to grow in Data Governance and Data Ownership role in future.

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for data scope within their data domain including data mapping and definitions
• Accountable for data quality within their data domain
• Takes active part in third party data integration projects which may appear on short term or/and long-term notice based on business needs
• Actively studies, investigates, and analyzes and defines data flows, data lineages including ingestion, consumption, change and decommissioning of data
• Builds and maintains good connections and relationships across teams with the stakeholders of the data (these stakeholders could be vendors, consumers, research, product, business teams and software architects)
 

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial, takes initiatives to connect across functions to align with data SMEs by seeking and valuing their inputs
• Experience in product owner, project manager role for data products or experience in business analyses, business process creation and data analyses
• Experience in data mapping, data lineage, data dictionary and/or data catalog management
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-growing dynamic environment where priorities may change based on business needs
• Good at excel
• Database query skills in Relational and Nonrelational databases such as SQL, NOSQL, PostgreSQL, HBase, Mongo dB, AWS Data Lake
• Attention to details
• Precise data quality skills
• Business level English language
• Cooperative business skills to work cross functionally across teams
• Good at working with data
• Can do personality
• Can absorb complexity
• 5 to 7 years of experience

Nice to have

• Data lineage technology experience
• Data analyses technology experience such as Python
• Master data management experience
• Business process modeling software experience such as Visio
