Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Developer to join our team in several police and governmental projects. The project requires big data manipulation and data migration, the magnitude of migration being of over 500 million files and transactions.

We want you to:

• Development of high quality database solutions;
• Analyze, design, develop and provide solutions for BIG data projects;
• Process & manage high volume real time interaction streams;
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions;
• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements;
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables;
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration;
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting;
• Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements.

We need you to have:

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer or similar role;
• Proven experience with Oracle;
• Good knowledge of Java;
• Experience with Big Data migrations and specific tools;
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies;
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject;
• Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services;
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
