Senior Developer with Apex

What You’ll Do                                                                                                  

You will be involved in the overall lifecycle of internal application development and maintenance within the EMEA Business Operations organisation.

Which will include the: 

• Development and maintenance of in-house applications (mostly APEX) that drive and support the business transformation of Oracle, while supporting our teams achieve success – for themselves and their customers.
• Creation of technical and functional documentation for the applications developed in collaboration with the business owners.
• Monitoring of live applications and providing ongoing enhancement support as required (bug fixing, RFE etc.).  
• Abide to internal coding standards and audit requirements.
• Advise on possible automation opportunities and technical feasibility of future applications, with the aim of streamlining business processes.

What You’ll Bring

The successful candidate will have experience in the development of applications within a Sales or Customer Success environment, with a focus on APEX. A keen eye for UX and good understanding of design principles to ensure user adoption is essential.

We also look for:

• At least two years experience using SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle APEX
• Experience with Java, Javascript, CSS, Python, Visual Builder Cloud Service is a plus
• Proven experience in the lifecycle of designing, building and maintaining applications
• The ability to take a high level concept and turn in it into reality
• Dedication to understanding the business model and the operational needs
• Ability to solve problems independently and using own judgment, with a focus on productivity and automation
• Attention to detail and accuracy, while being comfortable working with multiple data sources and systems
