Waters is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to provide leadership to maintain, support and improve CI/CD systems at Waters. 

 The CI/CD team is focused on innovating how we test and deliver software and is collaborating with all engineering team whilst Waters to improve our ability to deliver high quality solutions to our customers fast and efficiently. 

Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide team support for existing CI/CD system such as Bamboo CI and Jenkins CD 
• Provide technical expertise to engineering organization to develop a more robust and scalable CI/CD solution that supports both on premise and SaaS product  
• Mentoring and guiding the junior members of the team 
• Researching emerging tools, trends and methodologies and enhancing existing systems and processes to use them 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Scientific, or other related discipline strongly preferred; or equivalent work experience required  
• Expertise with infrastructure configuration management and orchestration tools, . Packer, Ansible, Terraform etc. 
• Expertise with CI/CD platforms / tools: Jenkins, Spinnaker etc.
• Experience of infrastructure monitoring tools: Sensu or Prometheus, Grafana
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C# or Java, Groovy. 
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technology, EC2, EKS, ECS, CF, S3, RDS, VPC, Security Groups, IAM, Cognito, Loader Balancer, API Gateways, CloudWatch etc. 
• Knowledge of container and container orchestration technology, . Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm 
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket / Git and Bamboo 
• Knowledge of Linux, Bash script or PowerShell
