Greppy recently joined the efforts in building Firebolt, one of the fastest Saas solution products in the big data space. While we’re gearing up to officially launch Firebolt, we are working closely with some of the world’s largest data driven companies on solving their “impossible data challenges”.

Job Description

• Be a part of a DevOps team

• Design, build and maintain a highly available 24/7 global AWS cloud infrastructure of a high-scale Data Warehouse SaaS product

• Work in a multiple account AWS organization structure

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD tools and infrastructure

• Take part in the definition of our R&D ecosystem and ALM

• Take part in on-call duties

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer

• 3+ years of experience with distributed systems running on AWS

• 5+ years of experience with Linux, as well as TCP/IP, HTTP and other common network protocols

• 2+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef and "Infrastructure as a code" tools such as Terraform, Pulumi or similar

• 2+ years of experience managing Databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, Couchbase, MongoDB or similar

• 1+ years of experience with Container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Mesosphere or Nomad

• Strong skills in shell scripting

• Experience with at least one of general purpose languages such as Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, C# or NodeJS

• Strong skills with a variety of monitoring and alerting tools

• Understanding of Microservices design patterns and RESTful web services

• A passion for learning, developing, monitoring, and provisioning systems that perform well at scale

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

• Understanding of application security in a cloud environment is an advantage

• Fluent in English (both verbally & in writing)

• BS/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage
