Senior Expert Applications Development

The Job Holder is accountable for the development and design implementation of architectural changes of IT systems, having analytical skills, specific IT architecture and development knowledge and abilities in using software tools or programming languages, in order to produce and implement workable solutions based on the requirements/needs within and towards Global Solutions and Business Divisions.   

The scope of duties for Job Holder include:

Responsibilities:

• Implement the development of software solutions following the Digital Excellence across Information Ecosystem Petrom E&P landscape and strategic objectives;
• Delivers complex multi-discipline technical specific tasks, according to defined service level agreements, for allocated software services without guidance and monitoring for daily activity and for project activities, respecting the principles and rules in place;
• Complete well designed systems of high quality that make appropriate use of technology;
• Participate in new technology investigation and make recommendations for new technology adoption;
• Building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines in projects on development, continuous integration and test environments;
• Act as technical lead role and technical point of contact where applicable
• Part of technical projects on demand and act as mentor to junior staff;
• Effectively collaborate with cross functional and cross country departments;
• Responsible for continuous alignment with Digital Excellence and relevant stakeholders in Head Office;
• Responsible for active participation in globally defined Use Cases;
• Responsible for active participation in Data Liberation Chapter initiative and other data integration activities.

Requirements:

• Master Diploma ( IT Management);
• Business relevant professional education in IT&C studies, additional education and training in IT field.
• Relevant Professional Experience: more than 7 years;
• Excellent skills using Azure stack in developing different solutions with focus on data flows and orchestration. Ability to develop and operate internally developed solutions based on Azure resources;
• Excellent understanding of what API is and how it should be designed and implemented;
• Experience in cloud computing technologies (SaaS / IaaS / PaaS);
• Strong experience with JSON, XML, REST, NoSQL Databases(MongoDB, Cassandra), Distributed Systems, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, Javascript, JQuery, Python, extensive knowledge of C# using Visual Studio, using MVC and Entity Framework;
• Experience in working in a development team with code version control systems and release management, experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies is considered a plus;
• Proven ability to test and debug your code and do code review inside the team, ability to scale the applications and data, ability to create monitoring and diagnostics pipelines, experience in programming;
• Excellent English skills. German represents an advantage.
