Senior Expert Security Technologies (HSSE)

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert on developing the automation and digitalization of Security solutions and processes, constantly searching for efficient and effective technical developments in the field of expertise, including Physical Security Information Management System(PSIM*), overseeing their seamless integration in a Security Operations Center (SOC), as basis for real-time, effective response to Security threats across OMV Petrom Group operations
• Acts as SPOC at HQ HSSE/Security level for relations with internal and external stakeholders (. external providers, Global Solutions IT, guarding companies, business owners of various relevant information systems) required for the successful operation of integrated and digital technical security solutions.
• Is continuously up-to-date with latest advances and solutions at international level in order to identify relevant opportunities for further reducing Security risks by implementing high-tech and digitalization solutions;
• Develops business cases for the identified Security Technologies and Digitalization solutions, ensuring an adequate cost-benefit ratio is achieved;
• Ensures using subject matter expertise the development, implementation and monitoring of workflows and processes in line with best practices, in all Security technological platforms, including PSIM and SOC, ensuring a cross-functional and cross-divisional consistent approach;
• Oversees the annual budgeting process across Business Divisions for PSIM and Security Operations Center, ensuring cost overview at overall OMV Petrom Group level
• Supports the annual budgeting process across Business Divisions for Security technologies and digitalization projects ensuring budget owners understand security solutions needed expenditure and to estimate costs for new projects according to annual plan
• Develops, delivers, monitors and reports on training programs targeted at relevant operational Security personnel across OMV Petrom Group covering Security technologies and related processes, ensuring capacity building, compliance with legal and internal provisions
• Provides specialist input for revising the scope of works for company-wide tenders related to all Security hardware, software and technical solutions and in developing security measures and cost estimation following the security risk assessments reports;

Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering or proven work experience with extensive knowledge in security technologies
• Possesses deep understanding of digital and IT advancements relevant for Security digitalization;
• Knowledge of international industry best practices, standards and regulations in relation with Security;
• Broad-based knowledge of O&G and power or very similar operations from the Security threats point of view, experience with incidents investigation techniques and risks evaluation;
• experience in implementing state-of-the-art Security digital solutions in companies operating over large areas from offices to remote field locations;
• extensive project management experience
• Sound expertise in the area of Security Operation Center processes, workflows, procedures
